Airport Transfers
Most of our international guests will arrive on Thursday, 24 September.
A private bus will pick up guests from Kraków Airport (Balice) and take you directly to Hotel Nad Przełomem. The bus is scheduled to depart from the airport at 11:45. The journey takes approximately two hours.
For the return journey on Sunday, 27 September, a bus will depart from Hotel Nad Przełomem at 15:30 and take guests directly to Kraków Airport.
More information about the exact meeting point at the airport will be shared closer to the wedding.
If your travel plans change or you will not be using the arranged transportation, please let us know as soon as possible.

Accommodation
The hotel is located directly next to the wedding venue. The price is approximately 700 SEK per person per night, including breakfast, spa access and a 10% discount that has already been applied.
Each guest will pay for their own stay directly at the hotel reception. Bathrobes are provided in every room, but please bring your own slippers if you would like to use them in the spa. Slippers can also be purchased at the hotel.
Check-out on Sunday, the day after the wedding, is at 14:00-15:00.
Good to know before your trip
Here are a few practical things that may be helpful to know before travelling to Poland.
Can we drink the tap water?
Yes, tap water in Poland is generally safe to drink. Bottled water is also available at the hotel and in local shops if you prefer it.
What currency is used in Poland?
Poland uses Polish złoty (PLN), not euros. Cards and contactless payments are widely accepted, so you do not need to exchange money before travelling. However, we recommend carrying a small amount of cash for smaller shops or local services.
When paying by card or withdrawing cash, choose to be charged in PLN rather than SEK to avoid an unfavourable exchange rate.
What will the weather be like?
At the end of September, daytime temperatures are usually around 10–18°C, while mornings and evenings can be considerably cooler. As the hotel is located in the mountains, the weather can change quickly.
We recommend bringing a warm jacket, comfortable shoes and something suitable for rain. A more accurate forecast will be available closer to the wedding.
Can we communicate in English?
You should be able to communicate in English at the hotel and at most tourist attractions. English may be more limited in smaller local shops, but translation apps such as Google Translate work well if needed.
Is Poland in the same time zone as Sweden?
Yes. Poland and Sweden are in the same time zone, so there is no time difference.
Where is the nearest grocery shop?
There is a small local grocery shop on Trzech Koron Street, within walking distance of the hotel. SHOP ONE SHOP TWO Please keep in mind that opening hours may be more limited during evenings and on Sundays.
Where is the nearest larger town?
Szczawnica is the nearest larger tourist town, approximately 25–30 minutes away by car or bike. It has restaurants, cafés and shops.
For a wider selection of supermarkets and other stores, Nowy Targ is approximately 40 minutes away. Kraków is around two hours from the hotel.
Can we use our Swedish mobile plans?
Poland is part of the EU, so Swedish mobile plans normally work under EU roaming rules. We recommend checking your individual plan before travelling, particularly your mobile data allowance.
Do we need a travel adapter?
No. Poland uses the same voltage and standard European plugs as Sweden, so Swedish chargers and electrical devices will normally work without an adapter.
Can we visit Slovakia?
Yes! The hotel is located right next to the Slovak border, and you can walk across the footbridge to Červený Kláštor in Slovakia. Remember to bring a valid passport or national ID card. Slovakia uses euros, although cards are accepted in many places.
Is Uber or Bolt available?

What should we bring?
Please remember to bring a valid passport or national ID card, your European Health Insurance Card and appropriate travel insurance. We also recommend comfortable shoes, as the hotel is surrounded by beautiful walking routes and mountain scenery.
